The patient, an auntie with tattooed eyebrows (refer to figure eyebrow column 3, row 3), whose bed is next to Michelle was complaining to us that the nurses had been taking her blood a couple of times every day. I told her the nurses might have mistaken that she was there for blood donation. She laughed, we laughed, Michelle laughed. The laughter could not conceal the fatigue embodied, Michelle felt weak and she perspired whenever after taking her medication for fever.
Ai Leng was worried when Michelle did not reply her SMS that day and we found out that she forgot to hit on the "send" button. Ai Leng, thanks for keeping us updated that we may pray with focus.
Lavonne printed the entries of this blog and placed them in a folder, which looks antique (but in perfect conditon) and I suspected it could one of the folders she used for her assignments during her Uni days. To find out more on the antique or rather unique folder, ask Michelle to show you when you visit her.
At 4pm, four of us took the Lord's Supper, proclaiming Jesus... "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed." (1 Peter 2:24) After which we prayed and anointed her with oil. In fact, Michelle looked mich better as compared to last Thursday. Brothers and sisters, let us not continue in our prayers (pray against the spirit of fear as she mentioned it to us that day, "我有时很怕..."), spiritual and emotional support for Michelle, knowing that "since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:14-16) Michelle, wherever we are, our hearts are with you and your family.
