Refuge

Visted Michelle on Friday night.

Found out from her earlier that a lump was seen in the mammogram (right side). Heard from Ada that there were three more found in the lymph nodes in her right armpit. Unlike the right lung where the confirmation of cancer cells was through the large amount of fluid drawn out (fluid was found in her lung which is why she felt breathless), these lumps will have to be confirmed by biopsy.

Ray had earlier mentioned that the lung cancer is around stage 3. If these lumps (outside the lung) are indeed proved to be cancerous, then the cancer stage would be more advance (stage 4 - meaning that it has spread beyond where it originated).

All these need to be confirmed before the medical professionals could advise the best course of treatment.

Saw Michelle. She looked calm.

She shared that when she was listening to the songs the night before, she saw a vision - a figure like Jesus embracing a little girl. The song, which she found out later, is 'Refuge'.

Let's pray that GOD will continue to minister to our dear sister. That there will be no fear. That her fever which usually comes in the evening will stay away. Pray for her little boys, aged 4 years and 11 months, that they will be good.Pray for Ray, a pillar of strength to Michelle, to continue to stay upbeat and strong. Pray for Michelle's parents to come to know the LORD....

Psalm 91: 2 - I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
